JANEL, INC. strives to provide the quickest service possible. All in-stock items usually ship the same day provided orders are received by 1:00 PM, ET M-F, and pass all credit card fraud prevention measures.

Payments / Credit Cards for USA Billing & Shipping Addresses
Payments on this website are ONLY with:

1. Credit Cards Accepted:
USA/Canada Issued Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.  Internationally issued credit cards are accepted at our discretion and require further fraud prevention inspection and documentation.  See the section below for "International Orders".

2. PayPal
We accept PayPal payments. PayPal payments CAN ONLY be shipped to a confirmed addresses, no exceptions.  Send your PayPal payment to: [email protected]

3. We also offer CCOD (Certified Funds Check On Delivery), but no personal checks.

All Credit Card Orders: require additional information and verification. This includes but is not limited to credit card billing address verification by the credit card issuing bank. It is at our discretion to request and require signed, faxed receipts of the credit card authorization form. We reserve the right to further audit any order for verification, authenticity, accuracy, and validity of credit card information, billing, and shipping addresses for fraud prevention and security for us and the card holders.

Payments / Credit Cards for International Orders outside the USA: All international orders require additional paperwork and approval. Further authorization from the credit card issuing bank of the credit card will be needed, as well as a copy of the credit card scanned or faxed to our credit department at 732-271-4814 for authenticity. An international credit card authorization form must be completed by the cardholder, signed, and faxed to 732-271-4814, or emailed. We reserve the right to further audit any order for verification, authenticity, accuracy, and validity of credit card information, billing, and shipping addresses for fraud prevention and security for protection to us as a merchant and for the cardholder. All security is held to the PCI Standards.

Open Account Billing Terms
A credit application must be completed and faxed to 732-271-4865. Email your request to:  [email protected]  Please provide a minimum of three trade references and one bank reference with the application. Processing will take 2 weeks. Credit cards as well as C.O.D. shipments are also available. Terms range from a minimum of NET 5 to NET 30 from the date of invoice (which is the date of shipment), and any invoices late will incur a mandatory 1.5% finance charge per month (18% per annum). Please understand that credit is granted based on the acceptance that the invoice is due in X number of days of the invoice date, not when the invoice is received and not when the package is delivered.  Open Account Terms can be revoked at any time and are at our discretion.

Returns
Should you need to make a return, please contact our customer service by phone (732-271-4700) or email: [email protected] for an RMA # number before shipping back.
-Returns are to be sent prepaid on your account and not collect unless otherwise authorized by us.
-Returns are subject to a 15% - 30% restocking fee.
-Special orders are subject to additional manufacturers' restocking fees and might not be returnable. Special orders are subject to the manufacturer authorizing the return.

All sales are final within 10 days of receipt. Used or damaged products are not returnable unless due to shipping or manufacturer. Credits from returns are applied to your account only. If payment was made by credit card, the card charged will be issued a refund. Please allow up to 7-10 days for credits to be issued/posted to your account.

Manufacturer Warranties
JANEL, INC. assumes no liability for any damages resulting from the use of a product. JANEL, INC. is not responsible and does not warranty any product for merchantability or fitness for any application. Warranties by the manufacturer, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a purpose are the sole responsibility of the provider.

Sales & Use Tax
JANEL, INC. collects sales tax for any and all shipping locations in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Tax is calculated by the city and county where the package is being shipped to. If you possess a valid tax-exempt number and certificate for the respective state AND the item(s) are not being used for self-use/consumption or used in another product for resale, please fax the certificate to 1-732-271-4865 to the attention of the Sales Tax Exempt Department for review.  Please remember to include your contact and company information so we may contact you if we have questions.

Typographical Errors
In the event that a Janel Inc. product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Janel Inc. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Janel Inc. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Janel Inc. shall issue a credit to your credit card.

Term; Termination
These terms and conditions apply to you upon your access to the site and/or completion of the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Janel Inc. without notice at any time for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Janel Inc.'s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. Janel Inc. may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without your notice.

Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a Janel Inc. or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. Shipping Policy
Shipping in the USA: All shipments are F.O.B. Bound Brook, NJ 08805, for most items. Some bulk items will be drop-shipped from the manufacturer at our discretion. Unless instructed otherwise, we ship the most economical way. If requested, we can ship Collect or C.O.D. freight charges via UPS or FedEx Ground on your account. Packages under 150 lbs can ship UPS or FedEx. There are various modes of transport for UPS & FedEx. We can ship via any mode of UPS or FedEx in the domestic USA provided the package is not hazardous. Packages or pallets can ship to virtually any trucking company you specify, or we can ship "best way" and charge you accordingly.

If you would like us to ship to an alternate address, please get in touch with your card issuer and request to add it as an alternate shipping address.  As per our sales policy, both billing and shipping addresses must be on record with your card issuer before we can process an order. This is our fraud prevention measure. The reason why we do this is because anyone who has your information (such as billing address and credit card no.) can have the parts shipped to anywhere in the U.S. However, only the cardholder can add an alternative address with the card issuer.   Once you have added the alternate shipping address, please call or email us so we can verify with your card issuer.  If adding an alternate shipping address is inconvenient, we can always ship to your verified billing address (providing that it is not a P.O. Box, APO, or FPO address). After 3 days, your order will be canceled if we have not received your reply.  You are responsible for any and all additional fees charged by a shipping carrier, such as, but not limited to:  Delivery Area Surcharges, Extended Service Area Surcharges, Signature Surcharges, Hazardous Materials Surcharges, Residential Surcharges, Invalid Account Numbers, Unauthorized Use of an Account Number, Account Number Correction, Reroute Shipment Surcharges, Address Correction Surcharges, Unauthorized Charges, Delivery Appointment Surcharges, Liftgate Surcharges, White Glove Inside Delivery Surcharges, Weight Validation, Duties, Taxes, Customs, MFN, VAT, import/export fees, customs broker fees, EEI/AES Export fees.  See a list of some of the most common surcharges and fees at: (https://www.ups.com/assets/resources/webcontent/en_US/daily_rates.pdf)

COD Shipping in the USA
UPS and FedEx charge an additional "per box" COD fee and can change at any time since this fee is set by UPS / FedEx.  Please check with UPS or FedEx for their updated rates and surcharges.  This fee is added to your shipping charges unless shipped Collect against your account.

Hazardous Products / Dangerous Goods - Shipping
A product is considered hazardous by its MSDS / SDS information and/or if regulated by the US Department of Transportation or by any other government regulatory agency. The regulations in the USA are set by the 49CFR (Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations) (see the e-CFR on gpoaccess.gov). For all international hazardous shipments and some domestic air hazardous shipments, the regulations are further regulated by ICAO / IATA (International Civil Aviation Organization / International Air Transportation Association) (www.icao.int, www.icao.org, and www.iata.org)

All hazardous products incur an additional "per box" HAZMAT shipping charge on all prepaid shipments; as of January 1, 2024, ground shipping is $51.00 per box in addition to all handling, shipping, fuel surcharges, delivery area surcharges, and/or insurance fees for USA domestic bound packages. This fee is subject to change by the carriers at any time. We can only ship Overnight HAZMAT products via FedEx Priority 1 at a prepaid HAZMAT fee of $160.00 as of January 1, 2024,  per box for accessible dangerous goods USA domestic bound packages in addition to all other shipping fees.  International bound accessible dangerous goods are Greater of $240 per shipment or
$1.30 per lb. per box International but can vary depending on the rates charged by FedEx as indicated at: (https://www.fedex.com/content/dam/fedex/us-united-states/services/FXE_FXG_Surcharges_and_Fees_2024.pdf) We will advise at the time of order shipment. This AIR HAZMAT fee can vary depending on FedEx. International AIR shipments require additional paperwork and clearance by the carrier and we presently only ship international AIR packages via FedEx. We strongly recommend “case quantities” to minimize additional charges. Presently, most 1-gallon containers ship four to a box for one HAZMAT fee. 5-gallon containers are individual. For larger quantities, palletized shipments are strongly recommended.

Of course, we can ship collect on your UPS, FedEx, DHL, or LTL freight account, and the carrier will bill you directly for any and all hazardous fees.

Short Shipments
While we do our best to ensure that you receive every order accurately, please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. All claims for short shipments must be made within 5 days of delivery.

Damaged Shipments
If a shipment is damaged by the carrier, please contact our customer service by either: email: [email protected] or phone: 1-732-271-4700. We will handle all necessary claims.  All claims for damaged shipments must be made within 5 days of delivery. No exceptions.
